​​Hello, this is Woowakgood.

After fifteen months, we’re finally ready to work on new songs for Isegye Idol.

​This time, we plan to accept multiple songs instead of just one.

We hope to see many artists applying for this opportunity.

We’re looking for songs with styles as described below:

​​* We are not planning to accept songs about Pride, Narcissism, or Self Ego.

(But if you already have any tracks pre-made, feel free to send them along)

1st Concept: A song that sounds bright, pure, and refreshing

(It doesn’t necessarily need to have a summer vibe to it)

​

Fast tempo with an addictive hook

(Ones that would sound great if the highlights were to be uploaded to Tik Tok)

(No songs where high-notes are the highlight, but those where various pitches of voice tones are harmonious)

(Has parts where a viral dance can be added as well)

(Has cute lines)

2nd Concept: Japanese songs have been on the rise recently.

This concept may be tough for other K-POP idols, but we believe it is doable for Isegye Idol

It’d be nice to have more experimental J-POP-like songs that don’t sound too much like the current K-POP songs.

(*Think of it as the country’s style, not the song’s style)​

3rd Concept: Male singer-style songs

A type of song that can give the impression that Isegye Idol covered a male singer’s song.

(There’s no genre restriction for this section. *Please consider it as a style of gender, not of music.)

4th Concept: Utaite-style

Isegye Idol is a virtual idol group, so it would be nice to have a song of this genre (anime-style or subculture songs).

​

​

5th Concept: Freestyle

We plan to accept any song as long as it sounds good (We don’t have too much time..)

Of course, songs that follow the suggestions above have higher priority.

But if the song’s good, we can always change the direction.

And you can always send us other songs you have. We’ll listen to all of them and contact you if there's anything we like.

1. Tell us who you are. (Social media etc.)

2. Please include your nickname in the file name.

3. The instrumental must be complete.

(+inst. would only be selected if it is rough-mixed at the minimum)

(Even if the instrumental version has a nice melody, it will not be chosen if the sounds are not rich)

​(If it's at a demo stage, please send us a reference link of your portfolio, so we can see how much you could improve the quality if you were to complete it.)

4. The song must include guide vocal(s).

5. Songs must be original and otherwise free from any copyright issues. (Contracts will be signed)

(Recording, mixing, and mastering will be done independently by Waktaverse. We’re currently at a state where we just have to buy the rights for new songs)

(If you have any producing feedback from recording until completion, we will keep in touch with you.)

6. Please inform us if there’s an approximate price for your song in mind.
